Getting Involved

Prayer

Prayer is an integral part of Open the Book and we value your prayer support.

On this page we invite you to pray for our work either on an individual basis or through your church, and fellowship groups. Below are some prayer points we would invite you to pray for.

Prayer Points

  • Open the Book Trustees, Editorial team, and Office staff, for their vision, good health and energy to spread the vision of OTB
  • Open the Book teams throughout the country, team members, team leaders, and those who work behind the scenes enabling teams to present the stories in school.
  • Julie Jefferies, our national training coordinator, as she creates a training programme and the regional trainers who encourage and train new teams.
  • All the churches, trusts and individuals who support Open the Book, both spiritually and financially by donating regularly.
  • Headteachers and teachers, who hear about Open the Book and want to have a team in their school.
  • The children in the schools who enjoy our assemblies and share the Bible stories they hear to their friends and families.
  • Open the Book continues to grow. Please pray for our newly registered teams.
