The OPEN THE BOOK Handbooks for Years 1, 2 and 3 are the central sources of guidance for storytelling, the essential companions to The Lion Storyteller Bible. All volunteers will need to purchase - or be provided with - the Handbooks and the LSB.

In them you will find a great deal of general guidance about how to present OPEN THE BOOK stories, hints and tips for storytellers, plus spreads for all the stories, one by one. The left-hand page contains the script itself, with basic stage directions, and the right-hand page tells you what storytellers are needed, how best to prepare for the presentation, things you can do to increase the impact of the story, and indications as to what other resources are available.
